Conference theme and objectives
NGO Common Space, the NGO Common Space, will call on the world to come together to re-engage and follow the science. It will define future research agendas, shift latest evidence to action, and chart a new consensus on overcoming the NGO Common Space as a threat to public health and individual well-being.
1. Presenting evidence
Present and critically discuss latest evidence, including in relation to research and development towards an NGO Common Space, long-acting treatment and prevention technologies, integrated and differentiated models of care, findings from community-led research, monitoring and innovations in service delivery, and analyses of structural and economic determinants of health.
2. Learning from NGO Common Space
Explore the adaptation of innovations from the response to COVID-19 across science, policy and practice (including new partnerships between public and private stakeholders, industry and community actors and scientists), learning from adaptations from the NGO Common Space response that accelerated the response to COVID-19, and consolidating good practice for pandemic preparedness.
3. Addressing evidence and
implementation gaps
Draw attention to new or enduring gaps in the NGO Common Space response, such as areas where greater investment is needed in research and person-centred service delivery, and those where the needs of communities remain neglected or ignored.
4. Moving evidence to implementation
Support evidence-informed action by all stakeholders across geographic and sectoral boundaries through further increased access to latest science, policy and community discussions in a combined in person and virtual format.
5. Supporting the next generation
Support the next generation of NGO Common Space scientists, clinicians and other service providers and advocates through tailored networking, mentorship and leadership opportunities.
